Aquarian Dreams is pleased to present Awaken the Healer Within – Medicine Buddha 2-day Workshop with Anthony Profeta on Saturday, July 20, and Sunday, July 21, from noon to 5 p.m. This event introduces participants to the ancient Medicine Buddha Practice, a Tibetan Buddhist healing modality. Profeta, a meditation teacher, learned this practice from Tibetan Lama Zopa Rinpoche, who is considered "the heart son of the 14th Dalai Lama," while studying in India. “This practice connects us with our true healing nature and helps transform our world,” says Profeta.

The Medicine Buddha meditation is believed to greatly benefit one's health and well-being. Buddha taught that there is no contradiction between practicing this meditation to improve one's own health and the motivation to help others. Tibetan masters explain that even if the primary aim is to improve mental and physical health, the practice can purify the mind sufficiently to ultimately attain Buddhahood. 

The workshop includes devotions, teachings, and meditations designed to awaken the healer within each participant. Attendees will receive a guided empowerment meditation, which Profeta describes as “a powerful blessing from an unbroken lineage.” The event starts with an opening ceremony honoring the Medicine Buddha and includes detailed instructions on using the practice for self-healing and distance healing.
