Shadowood Farm is devoted to teaching people how to grow their own organic food and sharing that gloriously GOOD food with others.

This ten acre, solar powered, agroforestry farm began growing organic vegetables and fruits in 2010. Prior to 2010, we spent over two decades growing Native plants.

Organic and sustainable are more than just fashionably, overused buzz words around here. After years of using organic practices, on October 10th, 2018, Shadowood Farm officially became Certified Organic as part of the USDA National Organic Program. Knowing that the true spirit of organic farming is all about protecting and regenerating the soil, in July of 2020, we also became certified by the REAL ORGANIC PROJECT.

For the last ten growing seasons, people have been able to rent a garden space and grow their own food; purchase food grown here on the farm; attend our various "how-to" workshops to learn better ways to grow food at home; and rent the farm for special events. As we enter our eleventh season, the world is a very different place. The Covid-19 pandemic has altered life for everyone. Our goals are to continue to create and share incredible, certified organic food; while keeping our family and our customers as safe as possible.
