In honor of International Women's Day, Friends After Diagnosis (FAD) is hosting a special screening of the documentary The Eagle Huntress at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 8 at The Majestic 11 Theatre, 940 14th Lane, Vero Beach. Ocean explorer Shirley Pomponi, PhD, of Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute will be the guest speaker prior to the start of the movie. No tickets are required and seating is first-come, first-seated, with doors opening at 12:45 p.m. FAD serves women with cancer, others with breast cancer, and their caregivers through four monthly support meetings, education, and wellness programming offered free of charge.
