Full Moon Meditation
The Full Moon Ocean Meditation will begin with a crystal and Tibetan bowl meditation for participants to relax and reach a deeper meditative state. If weather permits, the group will cross the street to the ocean and end with a silent meditation under the moon. “For centuries the full moon has been a time for contemplation and reflection and therefore has been considered a sacred time for meditation,” says Profeta. “Meditation performed during a full moon is especially powerful if you want to release things from your life or let go of old negative emotions and ways of thinking; you wish to transform yourself; or you want to tear down the walls and start again.”
