Aquarian Dreams is pleased to host Yoga Nidra Training led by Karen Hedley, MFA, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and Maria Banas, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) and Reiki Master on January 15-17 and January 23-24. “Immerse yourself in two weekends of profound rest,” says Hedley. “Rejuvenate yourself while learning how to teach others the transformational power of Guided Rest Yoga Nidra.” Yoga Nidra, also called yogic sleep, can assist with trauma, PTSD, depression, and anxiety by using trauma-informed strategies. This training is open to the general public and ideal for yoga instructors, therapists, parents, teachers, and health care professionals. In this 30-hour training, participants will experience the transformational power of Guided Rest Yoga Nidra and explore moving through the five layers of being (the 5 koshas) ¬– the physical, energetic, mental, wisdom or witness, and bliss levels of being. Students will learn how to lead a class, workshop, or conduct 1:1 sessions and discover how to create a safe, nurturing Yoga Nidra cocoon and how to fill that cocoon with healing, high frequency energy.
