Join us for a rainbow of fun in this 5K Color Run from Flagler Park through downtown Stuart ending back at Flagler Park. A color run involves running through stations along the race route where volunteers toss colored powder (corn starch and food coloring) onto the runner’s shirt as they pass by. By the end of the race, the runner has a colorful, tie-dyed shirt, and often body, which makes for fun pictures and a celebratory feel to the event. The race will be timed and there will be opportunities for serious runners to bypass the color toss. Awards will be given in many age categories. Cost is $30 per person until September 30th and $35 after that date. The race is being organized and timed by Mike Melton of MCM Timing and Results.
