A Mysore style Ashtanga Yoga class is an assisted self practice. In this Intro to Mysore-style class you will learn to flow through the Ashtanga Yoga Primary sequence of postures. Practicing at your own pace, in time with your own breath, independently with the support of your teacher who will offer individual instruction that’s personal to YOU. with a combination of verbal instruction, demonstration and hands-on assists. Your practice time will vary from other students and you can arrive at your own convenience. Expect a strong but friendly class that will help you build the foundations for a lifetime practice, incorporating modifications, shaping postures to your existing level and building upon gradually to help you find an approachable version of Ashtanga Yoga. Bring a towel, because you will sweat!
