According to teachings of Dr. Ann Wigmore, “Consuming chlorophyll is like receiving a healthy blood transfusion.” This is because the chlorophyll molecule closely resembles a molecule of human blood. Greens cleanse and nourish our bodies and provide the perfect foundation for a healthy immune system. In addition to eating a variety of salads, you can increase your greens intake by drinking green smoothies. Green smoothies are easy to prepare, very tasty, and easy to digest. Blending foods breaks open the cell walls making the nutrients readily available, so the body starts absorbing nutrients immediately upon contact with your mouth.
