Positive Change Health Center introduces Bowen Therapy to its list of therapeutic services. Bowen Therapy is called the “Homeopathy of Bodywork,” because it allows the body’s own dormant healing mechanisms to be safely and naturally stimulated.

Bowen Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive modality that can be performed over clothing. “Unlike various forms of bodywork or chiropractic, there is no manipulation of joints or bones, no squeezing of muscle or use of heavy pressure,” explains owner Jan O’Han. “The therapy relaxes the autonomic nervous system (which controls over 90% of what goes on in our bodies) making it applicable to many conditions. It is often used to enhance performance in sports and life by helping the body achieve balance.”
