Free spay/neuter for cats in Brevard
Brevard County Animal Services & Enforcement and the Central Brevard Humane Society have partnered together to provide a new grant funded program to all residents of Brevard County that will enable them to have their feline(s) spayed/neutered for free regardless of income. Rabies vaccine is required for age-appropriate felines, prior to surgery.
The program was made possible through sales of the Official Florida Animal Friend (FAF) Spay and Neuter License Plate. FAF strives to reduce the pet overpopulation problem in Florida by increasing awareness of programs that are available to pet owners and homeless animals.
To take part in the spay/neuter program, complete the “Brevard County Spay/Neuter Application” online at CritterSavers.com or BrevardAnimalServices.com. Mail application along with the documentation of eligibility and a copy of your valid driver’s license or state issued identification card to the Central Brevard Humane Society, 1020 Cox Road, Cocoa, FL 32926. To make an appointment, contact the Central Brevard Humane Society at 321-636-3343 ext. 206.
