“Nature's Spirit Distinctive Aromatherapy is both a world of holistic wellness and a pure botanical boutique,” states owner Doreen DeSerres. DeSerres has been teaching aromatherapy courses since 1988 and offers accredited courses that give massage therapists continuing education credits. On July 8-9, a 2-Day Basic Aromatherapy Course will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This accredited course will cover essential oil production, qualities and chemistry, psychological, cosmetological and medical applications including massage, skincare and hair care. All necessary information to begin the safe and effective use of essential oils will be covered. (12 CEUs, $275.)

On July 15 or 16, a 1-Day Basic Blending class will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This class demonstrates many of the effective and practical uses that aromatherapy provides and covers the aspects of holistic wellness. It is recommended for students with basic knowledge of Nature’s Spirit Distinctive Aromatherapy or another NAHA (National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy) source of knowledge. (6 CEUs. $100.)
