Permaculture Design Certificate Course
Kashi Ashram is offering a 12-day residential course with expert instructors, Koreen Brennan, Richard Powell and others from March 15 through 26.
Sustainable Kashi will host the course at the 80-acre yoga retreat and ashram on Florida’s East Coast. There will be field trips, hands on learning, networking opportunities, special film showings and more all revolving around permaculture.
Permaculture is about care of whole systems of earth and species. It devises model systems with designs drawn from nature. The end goal is to produce a system that is ecologically sound and economically profitable. It can be sophisticated or simple.
“Permaculture is conscious design of sustainable human systems of any size or complexity, from the backyard to watershed and beyond,” says Brennan. “It works with nature, rather than against her, to increase abundance and long-term survival potential for humans and for other life forms. Permaculture is the art and design of conscious living for the greater good.”
