Meditation Course at the Chopra Center
A four-session course on Primordial Sound Meditation begins on Saturday, March 9. Two sessions will be held on March 9 and two on March 16 to complete the course. Kasey Claytor, certified instructor, will lead the sessions.
Primordial Sound Meditation uses individually selected sounds of nature, called mantras, to help participants disconnect from the activity of life. The technique originated in India and has been revived by Deepak Chopra. The format is said to be easy to learn and can be practiced by anyone.
“Practicing Primordial Sound Meditation on a daily basis can help you manage stress and anxiety, create inner peace, sleep better and connect more deeply to spirit,” says Claytor.
