According to Almog it has been proven that certain wavelengths of light can trigger the body’s own natural ability to breakdown fat; a process called lipolysis. “During this process the body releases fatty acids which are then used by the body during exercise.” You can also treat your face with a mask that delivers red light or blue light. “Red light stimulates the activity of fibroblasts, which are responsible for making the proteins collagen and elastin,” says Almog. “Collagen and elastin are responsible for supporting the skin and giving it its elasticity – the foundation that can reverse the appearance of wrinkles and mottled skin tone. Blue light helps reduce facial acne breakouts.”

Lipo Light Treatment is followed by the Powerplate Workout to aid in the elimination of those fatty acids by stimulating the body’s natural response to vibration. Almog explains that these vibrations transmit waves of energy throughout the body, activating muscle contractions between 25 and 50 times per second.

Exercise is followed by a session in the infrared sauna. “In this type of sauna the air around you is not heated, making it more comfortable than the traditional heated room sauna and it promotes fat burning and detoxification,” says Almog.
