The Bald Strawberry Cafe has relocated to 1248 Sarno Rd in Melbourne and is dishing up plenty of gluten-free gourmet waffle sandwiches, pizzas and salads, in addition to vegetarian and vegan menu items.

Each month, The Cafe will host a gluten-free seminar with guest speakers from the medical and holistic fields to discuss gluten-free diets and issues as well as cooking and baking demonstrations.

“Chef Joe has done a great job on the new place with plans to add a tea bar and comfy couches,” says Linda Lopez, owner and baker. “The classic vinyl records are still a part of the ambiance, so come on down and play one of your favorites.”

The Bald Strawberry Bakery, located at 1280 Sarno Rd, is just down the walkway from the cafe with a variety of breads, desserts, French macarons and gourmet cupcakes. The bakery has also added a new line of 'take n bake' breads, cookies doughs, scones and pizzas. Dairy-free, sugar free and vegan options are available upon request.
