Feng Shui for the Year of the Yang Wood Horse
Jan 29, 2014 05:02PM ● By Angela Davis
January 31st marks the Chinese New Year of the Yang Wood Horse. The energy of the Wood Horse will bring growth and movement forward. The Horse represents speed, summer and active energy and is associated with the element of fire. Take advantage of the fiery, positive energy shift the Horse brings after two years of the water element. 2014’s Horse energy will help to eliminate the fearful state that permeated from 2008 to 2012. We can expect good economic movement and growth for 2014.
Be aware that the Horse year can bring confrontation and fighting energy. Also, the negative emotion associated with Wood is anger; dissipate anger with compassion. Be sure to think, live and welcome harmony into your life while balancing confrontational energy that comes your way. The Horse does not back down easily and could allow for unresolved global conflicts. Peaceful resolutions to difficulties will be harder to achieve this year so always keep empathy and understanding in your life.
Wood, this year’s element, is called wind sometimes. It is supportive to the fiery nature of Horse causing the fire to be extremely strong throughout the year.
