Nationally-known author, workshop leader, and meditation founder Cary Bayer, who’s coached Oscar-winners Alan Arkin and Pietro Scalia, Emmy-winner Judy Henderson, comic/director David Steinberg, and Quality Inn staff is coming to Thee House of Yoga. On Wednesday, May 14, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. he will show how the Beatles were trying to wake people up to the Transcendent that exists within them as a center of great peace. “The class will further wake you up to that truth, teach you a breathing method, and give you an experience of effortless meditation,” says Bayer.

“In this four-part musical class, I present an introduction to a simple meditation practice. I also lead a guided musical meditation, in which several songs by the Fab Four inspire new insights and awakenings in the students,” says Bayer. “In part two, I’ll share a cleansing breath meditation practiced by the Beatles as guided by their guru, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi at his ashram in India. The class concludes with a mantra meditation that gives the experience of the effortless nature of the meditation that the Beatles sang about.”
