Dr. Chris Edwards is pleased to announce the new location for The Smile Design and Wellness Center. This new larger facility, which also boasts a new name, is located at 5445 Village Drive in Viera. The name change reflects Dr. Edward’s view that it is all about the health of the mouth.

“We are still the same innovative, comprehensive dental practice as before doing beautiful cosmetic dentistry,” says Edwards. “It wasn’t more than a generation ago, that we didn’t know the importance of the oral cavity. We filled teeth with amalgam fillings and pulled teeth that were bad. The connection between oral disease, inflammation and the health of the body has now been confirmed. Toxic substances toll on your overall health are documented. Taking care of your oral health is now an investment in your overall health.”

Dr. Edwards at Smile Design Center is a leader in this field. He is accredited by the IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology) and he has an advanced degree in Naturopathy.

His new office will have a low radiation 3D Dental Cat Scan and Dark field microscopy. As always, Dr Edwards works through a microscope for a better view of what he is working on and uses lasers, ozone and minimally invasive dentistry in his work.
