Indian River Acupuncture Welcomes New Acupuncture Physician
Indian River Acupuncture and The Point Acupuncture Clinic are pleased to introduce their new associate, John Dalack, AP, DOM. Dalack’s interest in acupuncture stemmed from his successful experience using Chinese medicine to treat his chronic pain from sports injuries. He now specializes in treating pain and knows firsthand which techniques are most effective. Dalack practices holographic acupuncture meaning needles are inserted on the unaffected side of the body in a mirror image pattern. This method can work more quickly than traditional acupuncture be more relaxing for the patient as the painful area is left alone.
Dalack received his Bachelors of Health Science and Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, and is now pursuing his Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree. He is a licensed Acupuncture Physician with dual board certification in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. Additionally, he holds certification in Acu-Point injection therapy for pain and is skilled at Qi gong, tuina, and cupping.
Dalack joins the practices’ established team of practitioners including owner Angela King, AP, DOM, and her associates Dr. Christine Nielson, MD and Chelsey Dodd, AP, DOM.
