During the month of December, Aquarian Dreams is offering the Conscious Kids program with classes for ages 6-12. Classes will be held Wednesdays at 3 p.m. with Kid Yoga on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and Family Yoga on Fridays at 4:30 p.m.

The Wednesday class series kicks off with Children’s Mandala Meditation where kids will design and create their own mandala, learning the meanings of the different colors (materials included). The class will include a simple meditation. The following week is the Aroma-Kids Aromatherapy Workshop where kids will explore essential oils: where they come from, how they are created, and their use for emotional support. The Meditation for Children class introduces kids to the concept and practice of meditation through fun stories and activities which will help them build inner awareness and attention.

The final class in the series is The Kindness Project. In this class kids will explore the concept of kindness: what does it mean to be kind, why is it an important quality to develop and how can we practice it not only towards others but also ourselves (art supplies included).
