Florida Wildlife Hospital & Sanctuary is hosting the Wild About Wildlife fundraiser on Saturday, April 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Wild Ocean Market at the Port. Festivities include live music, live animals, and a live auction. Laurilee Thompson of Dixie Crossroads will prepare an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet along with a beer and wine cash bar. Barbeque will also be available. Tickets are $50 per person with all proceeds benefiting the Florida Wildlife Hospital.

Florida Wildlife Hospital is a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding injured, sick, and orphaned native Florida wildlife and migratory birds and returning them to their place in the ecosystem. They are open 365 days a year and care for over 5,000 patients yearly. Funding for the hospital is comprised of donations from membership dues, local companies and grants and they do not receive any state or federal funding.
