Reveal Underlying Weight-loss Barriers

Thermography, also known as Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging, is a fast, radiation-free scan that shows pathology and dysfunction.
A full-body scan can reveal organ or gland dysfunction which may be the underlying issue for those who are struggling with weight loss. For example, patients with an underactive thyroid tend to have a very low basal metabolic rate. Weight gain and difficulty losing extra weight is one of the most noticeable symptoms of hypothyroidism. A person may have hypothyroid/low adrenal symptoms, yet their blood work is normal. However, when they have a thermography scan, the scan will indicate thyroid and/or adrenal gland dysfunction. Belly fat is one of the first symptoms of adrenal dysfunction. When the adrenals are completely out of balance, the fight-or-flight response occurs and the body prepares for the worst-case scenario by storing calories for a rainy day. The good news is that when the body is supported properly, healthy function can be regained and unwanted pounds can be lost.
Thermography may also help identify immune dysfunction that may be causing chronic fatigue syndrome or Hashimoto's syndrome (a thyroid disorder).
Scan results can provide you and your health care professional new insight into your body. The information may prove helpful in determining an approach and treatment in achieving your wellness goals.
