The Eccovision system is comprised of two tools, the pharyngometer and rhinometer which assess the airway using acoustic reflection. “The benefit this diagnostic tool offers our patients is a visual understanding of each patient's nasal and pharyngeal airways,” says Dr. Stagg. “This allows for any obstructions, if there are any, to be seen therefore allowing the patient valuable and potentially life-changing information about their overall health.” This tool can also be used to test the effectiveness of treatment for airway issues.
