Aquarian Dreams is pleased to host a weekend certification course in Thai Massage from February 12-13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing art that combines the best of acupressure from Thailand and Hatha yoga from India, gentle rocking movements, deep rhythmic compressions, a variety of stretching movements and restorative yoga positions open the body’s complex network of tissue and energy lines.

The workshop will be led by Ariela Grodner, owner of Bodhi Sangha School of Thai Massage in Gainesville, teacher at the Florida School of Massage and author of many books on the subject. Participants will explore the core movements, stances, hand techniques and rooted breath awareness necessary for a strong foundation in the Thai Massage practice while emphasizing the art of compassionate healing touch. “All are welcome. You don't need to be professional. Thai Massage is for everyone,” says Grodner.

This class is traditionally taught on a mat, but Grodner will offer a special class for students who are hesitant to work on a mat. They can bring their massage table and she will modify the mat work for them.
