The 4th Annual Paws for a Cause 5k Run will take place on Saturday, April 22, at Fred Poppee Park in Palm Bay. “We have various categories for you to participate in with your family and four-legged friends, including virtual race participation,” says Coral Perez, Marketing and Fundraising Coordinator for Serene Harbor. “Our comfort dog, Lilly, is so happy for this event that helps us raise awareness of the needs that survivors of domestic violence have when fleeing to safety with their pets.”

Serene Harbor has served Brevard County for over 30 years, providing emergency shelter, a 24/7 confidential hotline (321-726-8282), counseling services, transportation, relocation assistance, support groups, legal advocacy, outreach programs, referrals and assistance programs to survivors of domestic violence.
