Aquarian Dreams will host a full-day intensive workshop, A Journey in Sound, led by meditation teacher and singing bowl specialist, Anthony Profeta, on Sunday, July 16, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This Sound Healing and Singing Bowl Training is comprised of both lecture and hands-on, experiential practice.

During this training, participants will gain a foundational understanding of sound and its effect on the body, mind and soul. The basics of how to play and work with singing bowls will also be taught. These skills may be used for healing in self-practice, private or group sound bath meditations or yoga and meditation classes.

Throughout the workshop, a close look will be taken at the role of sound in daily life and how the energy can be utilized to change the vibration of ourselves or others. Sound baths and vibrational therapy can help one access deep states of meditation and relaxation, decrease anxiety and depression, as well as increase well-being. Participants will come away with an understanding of energy, frequency and vibration and how sound affects our bodies and can be used for healing. How to choose the correct singing bowl will also be covered. All levels of experience are welcome.
