Aquarian Dreams is please to host Crystal Bowl Meditation with Marilyn Diaz on Thursdays at 4 p.m. “This sound healing meditation will align with your true essence, which is boundless, loving, and radiantly Divine,” says Diaz.

The meditation begins with an intention and breath work to still the mind and relax the body. The Crystal Bowl meditation includes the ethereal sounds of the monochord (an ancient healing instrument), Koshi chymes, and the meditative Tibetan singing bowls, a combination to nourish one’s spirit.  Meditation may be done in a chair or on the floor.

Benefits of sound healing meditation include that it promotes present moment awareness; enhances the body’s self-healing response; reduces stress through endorphin release; relieves emotional imbalance; promotes balance; helps one achieve a meditative state; offers relief from fatigue; promotes deep relaxation; and affects brain waves to achieve a meditative state.
